Can I tour and visit the facility prior to arrival?

Of course! We encourage you to visit Darbster Dog Daycare and take a tour. Please call us in advance to arrange for a tour.

What methods of payment do you accept, and when is payment due?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cash and checks. Payment is due when you pick your dog up. You may also purchase a multi-day package and set up an account with us for payment.

Can someone other than myself drop off or pick up my dog?

Yes, but please contact us prior to arrival to make proper arrangements with check‐in paperwork and payment. You may add names to your pre‐approved pick up list to allow other people to pick up your dog.

How are the dogs separated?

The dogs are separated mainly by size. Medium sized dogs will be placed in the play area that best suits his/her temperament. We have a separate area for large dogs and small dogs. In addition, we have kennels in which to keep dogs that may need quiet time. Our primary focus is to keep all the dogs safe and ensure that they have an enjoyable time while in our care.

What happens if I am not able to pick up my dog before you close?

Please notify us if you are going to miss the final pick up time of 6:30 p.m.  You will be charged $5 for every 15 minutes that you are late, up to 30 minutes.  If you are unable to pick up your dog before we close, you are responsible for contacting someone to pick up the dog for you.  If that is not possible, you will be charged for overnight boarding.

Are there nap times during the day?

There are not designated nap times because most dogs will take a break on their own. However, if you would like your dog to be separated for any part of the day, please let us know and we will accommodate you.

What Vaccinations are required?

Rabies, bordatella, distemper, parvo and lepto are required for your dog to stay in our daycare.  You are also required to leave the name of your veterinarian on file with us, along with an emergency contact number.

Is my pet supervised during daycare?

Yes, there is always someone assigned to supervise daycare.

Is my pet supervised during overnight boarding?

Yes, our staff works after hours and weekends when dogs board with us.  Dogs are given access to both our indoor and outdoor play areas during their stay, limiting the time they have to spend in their kennels.

Do you have an outside facility for dogs?

Yes, we have a 2300 square foot, outside area for your dog’s enjoyment.  It is enclosed, covered, with a grassy area.  Small and large dogs are kept separate while outside.  Your dog will always be supervised while he plays outside.
